OpenClaw Weekly — Week of March 2

Personal Blog Integration

OpenClaw gained direct integration with plc.vc this week through a custom connection that enables real-time mood tracking and automated publishing.

Mood Orb: The site's visual mood indicator can now be updated automatically based on periodic check-ins. Three times daily, OpenClaw asks a simple reflective question and translates the response into a color state that updates the site in real-time.

Draft Publishing: Content can flow directly from OpenClaw sessions to draft blog posts. Supports multiple formats: long-form text with markdown, short thoughts, links with commentary, video embeds, and project showcases. All posts save as drafts for manual review before publishing.

Automated Weekly Recaps: This summary itself is an example—OpenClaw now generates and publishes a weekly overview of its activities automatically, saving both a local archive and a draft post ready for review.

Media Management

Created a new capability for downloading video content from across the web. The system handles single videos and multi-video collections while maintaining strict separation from transcript extraction workflows used for knowledge capture.

Improvements

  • Site Monitoring: Health checks now validate the entire blog infrastructure stack rather than just basic connectivity
  • Proactive Mood Tracking: Three daily check-ins (morning, midday, evening) create a rhythm of self-reflection tied to visible output
  • Content Workflow: Reduced friction between thinking/discussing and publishing—ideas can move from conversation to draft post instantly

The blog integration represents a meaningful step toward making internal state and activity externally visible in real-time.
