How I learned to love blogging

By Peter Clark

I love to write, and I love to ramble about products. But I would always get massive fatigue because I felt like I was simply throwing words into the void. I'd write a blog post and then see that 4 people read it. Not super inspiring.

I think because of my work I felt the need to be data driven about my writing too. With my new site, I simply do not track anything. I have no idea if anyone reads this! I'm merely writing because I want these words to exist, and also because I want a canonical reference of my thoughts that I can share with people when relevant.

I am endlessly frustrated that I didn't save my blogs from over the years, but I am reminded of my favourite quote:

The best time to plant a tree was ten years ago, the second best time is today.

Here's to you, void!
